Role-Based Access Control

TAPAS ensures secure and organized temple management by assigning appropriate access to each user. Roles like Admin, Trustee, Leader, and Manager are granted specific permissions based on their responsibilities.

  • Menus and pages are displayed based on the logged-in user’s role.
  • Access to view, add, or edit content is controlled through defined permissions.
  • Only authorized roles can make important changes or access system-level settings.
  • Login access is restricted to selected users to prevent unnecessary system usage.
  • This structure maintains security, accountability, and smooth operation across temple and gaushala activities.

Inventory & Stock Usage Module

Efficiently manage all temple inventory, from pooja items to daily consumables, with real-time tracking and smart adjustment capabilities.

=> Material Receipt Register (MRR) Integration

  • Record all stock purchases through the MRR interface.
  • Captures vendor details, item quantity, purchase rate and purchase bill number.
  • Automatically updates stock levels upon MRR entry.

=> Stock Usage & Consumption

  • Consumption (-): All the consumption is recorded, and stock is adjusted based on the recorded values.
  • Adjustment (+) – for extra/manual additions (e.g., donations in kind).
  • Adjustment (-) – for stock wastage, damage, or manual corrections.

Room Booking & Housekeeping Management Module

A robust room management system tailored for temples and dharmshalas, allowing seamless handling of bookings, availability, and housekeeping coordination—all in one place.

  • Select Check-In and Check-Out dates with time slots.
  • A dynamic dialog that shows available dharmshalas rooms for the selected period.
  • Reasons for unavailability (e.g., already booked, under maintenance).
  • Last cleaning status of each room—clearly marked as Cleaned or Uncleaned.
  • Supports multi-room selection for group bookings.
  • Filters available for room types & capacity.

  • Dedicated screen to view all uncleaned or pending rooms.
  • Assign uncleaned rooms to housekeeping staff or helpers.
  • Track task assignments with room number, assignment time, and priority.

  • Housekeeping staff log in with their own credentials.
  • Access is limited to the assigned cleaning task list.
  • Staff can mark rooms as cleaned, optionally with a note or cleaning timestamp.

Audit Logs

Tracks all critical actions performed by users (e.g., booking, payments). Helps ensure accountability and detect unusual activity. Daily/weekly inventory usage reports.

  • Logs include who performed the action, when it occurred, and from which module on screen.
  • Maintains a history of important data changes (e.g., status updates, edits, deletions) to ensure full traceability.
  • Helps detect suspicious or irregular activity, such as unauthorized access attempts or unexpected changes.

Unlock Request

To maintain data integrity and ensure authorized edits, Tapas includes a secure Unlock Request mechanism.

Features

  • Once a receipt / record is created, it is locked from direct editing to prevent accidental or unauthorized changes.
  • Users must raise an Unlock Request to modify any locked entry. This request is sent to the designated approver (Trustee / Leader).

Smart Print View on Click

  • Clicking any transaction row opens a pre-formatted, printable view of the voucher/receipt
  • View includes all entry details, donor/vendor info.
  • Integrated with Print preview options.
